Quick continues its implantation in Algeria

As part of its international expansion strategy, the chain of fast food Quick continues its implantation in Algeria where it just opened the second restaurant.

Quick and its partner Bertrand Group launched on the 1st of June 2008 the second restaurant in Alger at the Houari Boumediene airport; this illustrates a new phase of the development plan predicting the opening of 40 restaurants in Algeria 10 years from now, in Alger and in the major cities.
During its first year of operations, the first restaurant located on Emir Abdel Kader square received an average of 1500 visitors per day.

Quick Group is the number 3 hamburger chain in Europe and the number 1 originally European fast food chain.
Quick is present in Morocco, Spain, Russia, Reunion island, and it is pursuing its international development beyond those countries.

A second Quick in Alger

The new Quick benefits from a privileged location in the national airport which receives 2 million travellers a year and it benefits from being close to the international airport. Having a 350 m² surface, the restaurant can host 184 sitting persons.

On the menu, one can find burgers which made the success of the brand in Europe adapted to meet the demand for Halal meat in Algeria.

Like in all countries where Quick is present, the supply of ultra-fresh products such as salads is local. Initially, the rest of the products will be imported from France. The objective of the brand is to find local suppliers who will meet Quick’s quantitative and qualitative exigencies. 

Operating hours are conforming to those of the airport. It opens with the first flight at 5:30; it closes with the last one at 22:30.

A training conform to Quick’s method

Every new set-up is an opportunity for Quick to reinforce its connections with the economic and social local network, and contribute to its dynamism. Sharing passion for taste and teamwork is a constant challenge for the brand. This is how Quick recruits, trains and animates its teams.

The restaurant team is composed of 40 full-time employees, all recruited locally.
